We're looking for a Commercial / Cost Director to join an established and reputable consultancy in Saudi Arabia. This is a unique opportunity to be the sole Head of Cost/Commercial for our client, You'll report directly to the General Manager/Board and play a pivotal role in the company's continued success. We're seeking a collaborative, client-facing, and driven individual to help lead our cost consultancy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day running of cost consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of mixed-use and infrastructure projects.
- Oversee pre and post-contract professional quantity surveying services.
- Contribute significantly to operational duties and process improvement within the consultancy.
- Actively participate in business development initiatives alongside the senior leadership team, fostering new client relationships and expanding the company's reach.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, value-driven cost management solutions to clients.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members as the team grows.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or similar.
- 15+ years of industry experience in professional quantity surveying services.
- MRICS qualification is essential.
- Middle East experience preferred but not essential.
- Proven expertise in both pre and post-contract cost management.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients.
- A strong business acumen and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- A commitment to long-term career growth in KSA
