My client require an experienced Contracts Manager to join their busy team based out of their South West London/Surrey head office.The Contracts Manager will be required to oversee multiple projects in London from start through to completion.Job Summary / Key Responsibilities:As a Contracts Manager you will be expected to oversee projects from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget.Record actual start date of a projectCheck site access, storage, mechanical hoisting power and work areas are productively availableMeet trade team with labour order and drawingsRecord and photograph delays, variations and completed works.Check works against programme and if necessary apply for extension or record "time at large"Site meetings - book deliveries and crane timesSecure signed day works within 7 days of undertakingSecure written site instructionsRecord practical completion dateHealth and safety issues will be a top priority in this role, as will managing client expectations.You will also be responsible for agreeing extra work to be done on a contract and helping to resolve any disputes which come up.A background in roofing/construction is essential for this role and we are looking for someone with around 5 years experience in this industry.Salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £50,000 to £55,000 (dependent on experience).
