Requirements:
... - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the current Computing curriculum and exam specifications.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)

- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written skills for engaging with students, staff, and parents.
- Resilience & Growth Mindset: A personal commitment to continuous professional development and overcoming challenges.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver highly effective Computing lessons to all assigned classes.
- Assess, monitor, record, and report on the progress and development of students.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and review of the department's curriculum resources.
- Maintain high expectations for student conduct and academic performance in line with academy policy.
- Participate fully in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school-wide CPD.
- Provide effective feedback and implement intervention strategies for student progress.
- Foster a safe, stimulating, and positive learning atmosphere in the classroom.
- Act as a tutor, offering pastoral support and guidance to a designated group of students.
- Engage proactively with parents/carers regarding student progress and well-being.
- Uphold the academy's values and actively contribute to the wider life of the school community.
