As a Contact Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising family contact sessions: You will be present during supervised visits, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Observing and reporting: You will write detailed and accurate notes and reports on each contact session, highlighting key interactions and observations.
- Transporting children: You will be responsible for collecting children from their current residence (e.g., a foster carer's home) and safely returning them after the visit.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Trustworthy and reliable: You must be able to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Empathetic and patient: You should have a calm and compassionate approach when working with families in sensitive situations.
- A strong communicator: You will need to write clear and concise reports and communicate effectively with social workers and other professionals.
- An experienced driver: You must have a full UK driving license and access to a reliable car.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
