Randstad C&P are urgently seeking an energetic and experienced Contracts Managerlooking for a new challenge. The role will involve overseeing several commercial projects concurrently within the Southampton area! Responsibilities:
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conducting regular site inspections and quality assessments to maintain high standards.
- Providing regular updates and reports to senior management and clients.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Leading the contract negotiation process and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
- Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks or issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or senior project manager overseeing multiple jobs) within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of contract law, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet and exceed deadlines.
- Relevant degree or equivlemnt (NVQ etc) in construction or a related field.
