Daily Pay Rate: £90 to £95 per day
Location: Birkenhead, Wirral- CH41
As a Cover Supervisor, you are the in-class leader when the regular teacher is absent. You will manage classrooms, deliver pre-prepared work (provided by the absent teacher), and ensure students remain focused and productive.

Main Duties:
Your core responsibilities are focused on effective classroom management and support:
- Manage the classroom effectively, maintaining a productive and respectful working environment.
- Deliver the pre-set lesson content clearly to students across different subjects.
- Ensure all students are engaged, on task, and completing the work left for them.
- Respond to student questions regarding the task instructions (you are not expected to be a subject specialist).
- Implement the school's behaviour policy confidently and consistently when necessary.
- Collect completed work at the end of the lesson and return it to the appropriate department.
Skills You Will Need:
- Strong Authority & Presence: The ability to command respect and manage a classroom of teenagers confidently.
- Adaptability: Comfort in covering diverse subjects and year groups at short notice.
- Clear Communication: Excellent verbal skills for giving instructions and maintaining classroom flow.
- Resilience: The ability to stay calm and assertive under pressure.
- Reliability: Excellent timekeeping and dedication to consistent work across the Liverpool area.
