Cover Supervisors (Liverpool)
We are looking for confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools throughout Liverpool. This role offers a daily rate of £90.00-£95.00, which is negotiable based on your previous classroom or youth work experience.
Duties:
- Lead a classroom of students and ensure they stay focused on the work set by the teacher.
- Manage student behaviour according to the school's policy to maintain a positive environment.
- Hand out learning materials and equipment needed for the scheduled lesson.
- Collect completed work at the end of the class and provide feedback to the department.
- Support students with their questions to help them understand the lesson tasks.
Skills Needed:
- Strong communication skills and a confident presence when speaking to groups.
- Ability to remain calm and professional while managing a classroom.
- High level of organisation and the ability to follow lesson plans accurately.
- A positive, patient approach when working with young people from various backgrounds.
- Must hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS certificate.
