We are recruiting Cover Supervisors to join our team in secondary schools across the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton. If you are passionate about helping young people learn and have experience managing a classroom, this is your chance to make a real impact, earning a daily rate of £90 to £95.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you are crucial to the smooth operation of a school. You'll step in when a teacher is absent, ensuring students remain on-task with pre-planned lessons. This role is ideal for those who can command a classroom, build rapport with students, and maintain a productive learning environment. Your professionalism and ability to adapt will be key to your success.
Role Details:
- Pay Rate: £90 to £95 per day.
- Location: Secondary schools throughout the Sefton Borough- L20, L21, L22, L23, L29, L30, L31, L37, L38, PR8, and PR9. This includes areas such as Bootle (L20, L30), Crosby (L23), Formby (L37), Maghull (L31), and Southport (PR8, PR9).
Core Duties:
- Classroom Management: Maintain control of the classroom, ensuring students are focused and following school rules.
- Lesson Delivery: Present pre-prepared lessons in a clear and engaging manner.
- Student Support: Assist students with their work and address any questions or issues they may have.
- Reporting: Provide a detailed handover to the regular teacher on student progress and behaviour.
- Safeguarding: Act as a key point of contact for student welfare, reporting any concerns immediately to the relevant staff.
