We are seeking dynamic and authoritative Cover Supervisors to support our partner secondary schools throughout Sefton. Whether you are an aspiring teacher or an experienced classroom leader, this is your opportunity to maintain high academic standards and student engagement across the borough's diverse educational settings.
Location: Across Sefton-Southport, Formby, Crosby, Maghull, and Bootle.
Start Date: After Easter.
Role Type: We offer both long-term placements and flexible day-to-day supply.
Must Haves:
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to apply for one).
- Confidence in managing groups of 25-30 students.
Duties:
- Lead the classroom and ensure pre-set work is completed to a high standard.
- Maintain a safe and productive learning environment through effective behaviour management.
- Respond to student queries and provide guidance on assigned tasks.
- Collect completed work and provide detailed handover notes for the regular teacher.
- Ensure all school safeguarding and health and safety policies are strictly followed.
