Salary: £90 - £95 per day (dependent on experience)

We are seeking dedicated and responsible Cover Supervisors to join a team of support staff working with schools in the Southport area. This role is perfect for a highly organised individual who is able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.

Role Duties:

• Supervising a variety of classes across different subjects and age groups.
• Setting a positive tone in the classroom and ensuring a calm and productive atmosphere.
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans left by the absent teacher.
• Addressing student questions and providing support as needed.
• Recording student attendance and any behavioural issues.

We are looking for someone with:

• Qualifications: A minimum of A-levels or equivalent is required. A degree is highly desirable.
• Essential Skills: The ability to command a classroom, strong behavioural management skills, and a professional and enthusiastic demeanour.
• Experience: Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is a significant advantage. Experience working with young people in any capacity is essential.
