Calling all confident communicators and aspiring educators! Secondary schools across Wirral are actively looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join their teams in September.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a key role in maintaining continuity in student's education when teachers are absent. You won't need to plan or mark - your focus is to deliver set work and ensure student engagement and classroom order.

Main Duties:

• Supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Ensuring set work is completed and managing classroom behaviour.
• Providing clear instructions to students at the start of lessons.
• Responding to general questions and offering assistance where needed.
• Managing classroom discipline and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Reporting back to teachers on student progress and behaviour.

What You'll Need:

• Previous experience working with young people (in school, coaching, youth work, tutoring, etc.)
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A calm, assertive, and professional approach.
• Adaptability and confidence to manage different classrooms and subjects.
• A degree or Level 3 qualification is preferred but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
