We are recruiting reliable and proactive Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in all local areas. This is a great way to work in education without the stress of planning lessons!
We have roles across the entire Wirral peninsula, including- Birkenhead, Wallasey, Bebington, Prenton, Heswall, West Kirby.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people (coaching, youth work, or classroom support) is preferred.
- Attributes: A calm, authoritative presence and the ability to adapt to different subjects and school environments.
- Compliance: You must hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS check and have the right to work in the UK.
Key Duties:
- Supervise Work: Ensure students complete the pre-prepared tasks set by the absent teacher.
- Behaviour Management: Maintain a calm and productive learning environment following the school's behaviour policy.
- Student Support: Assist pupils with queries and keep them on task.
- Safety & Welfare: Ensure the health and safety of students throughout the lesson.
- Reporting: Provide brief feedback to the school on student progress and any issues encountered.
