About the Role
This full-time Cover Supervisor role is an ideal opportunity for aspiring educators, recent graduates, or individuals with strong classroom experience looking to contribute meaningfully to the life of a school. You'll supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task and complete the work set.

Requirements
... - Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Strong classroom presence and ability to maintain discipline.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects.
- Supervise whole classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Manage student behaviour to ensure a focused classroom environment.
- Provide support and encouragement to students in completing tasks.
- Record attendance and report incidents as per school policy.
- Promote a positive and respectful learning culture.
- Help students understand and engage with their work.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
- Keep students on task and motivated.
- Support individual or small groups of students when needed.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
