Cover Supervisor - Full-Time, Starting September
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant and diverse secondary school in Bradford. This is an incredible opportunity to play a vital part in the school's success by ensuring the continuity of learning for the students. You will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of a teacher, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students are on task with the work that has been set. This role is a full-time position, perfect for someone looking for a new challenge this September.
You will be working in the school each week, providing continuity and becoming a valued member of our community.

Requirements:
... - Previous experience working with young people in a school or similar setting.
- A strong understanding of classroom management techniques.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- A good standard of written and numeracy skills.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

- Explain set work to students and clarify instructions.
- Ensure students are on task and engaged with their learning.
- Report any issues or concerns to the relevant staff members.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom.
- Follow the school's behaviour policy.
- Motivate and encourage students to achieve their best.
- Promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide feedback on student progress to the absent teacher.
