About the Role: Cover Supervisor
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded school in Bradford. This is a full-time, long-term position, with an immediate start available. The role of a Cover Supervisor is crucial in ensuring the continuity of learning for students in the absence of their regular teacher. You will be responsible for managing classrooms, supervising students, and ensuring they remain on task with the work set by the absent teacher.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising classes during the short-term absence of a teacher.
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
- Ensuring students are engaged with the work provided.
- Responding to student questions and providing support as needed.
- Reporting any issues or concerns to senior staff.
- Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
- Adhering to the school's safeguarding and health and safety policies.
- Distributing and collecting classwork.
- Working collaboratively with other staff members.
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to cover work.
