Randstad Education is seeking a confident and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join thriving Secondary Schools in and around the Clacton-on-sea area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about education and looking to gain invaluable experience working in a school setting.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll supervise pre-set lessons during teacher absences across a range of subjects and year groups. While you won't be expected to plan or mark work, your role is vital in maintaining continuity and supporting students in their learning.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students stay on task.
• Provide support and guidance to students to facilitate their learning.
• Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
• Monitor student behavior and implement school policies.
• Assist with administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications.
• An up to date enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one.
• Proven ability to inspire and engage students through creative lesson planning.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
