About the Role:
Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding role in education? Randstad Education is seeking experienced and proactive individuals to join our team as a Cover Supervisor in the Havering area as soon as possible.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. This is a vital role that ensures students continue to learn and remain on track with their studies. Your main focus will be to maintain a positive and productive learning environment by supervising students and ensuring they complete the work that has been set for them.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes across various subjects and year groups, ensuring a positive and focused learning environment.
Effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in line with school policies.
Provide guidance and support to students, helping them stay on task.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care.
Communicate with school staff regarding any issues or incidents.
Requirements:
Prior experience working with children or students is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence and a proactive approach to managing a classroom.
Adaptability and the ability to think on your feet.
An Enhanced DBS check is required. Randstad Education can support you with this.
Pay & Benefits:
- £95 - £120 per day, depending on your experience.
