The Role
We are looking for reliable, seasoned Cover Supervisors to join our elite team supporting Good and Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary schools across Havering.
Because our schools trust us with their last-minute needs, we need educators who are adaptable, proactive, and ready to go.
Your Responsibilities:
As the lead figure in the classroom, your day-to-day will involve:
Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive and focused learning environment by implementing the school's behavior policy.
Supervising Pre-Set Work: Delivering lessons left by the regular teacher, ensuring students understand the tasks and stay on track.
Supporting Students: Answering questions and providing guidance to help pupils complete their assigned work.
Safety & Welfare: Ensuring the health and safety of all students while acting as a professional role model.
Reporting: Providing brief feedback for the returning teacher on student progress and any notable behaviour incidents.

What we're looking for:
Proven Experience: You must have previous experience leading a classroom (we need people who can hit the ground running).
Ultimate Flexibility: You're the "emergency responder" of the education world. You must be available for on-the-day morning bookings.
Local Knowledge: Ideally based in or very close to Havering to ensure you can reach our schools promptly.
