As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom, supporting student's learning when their regular Teachers are unavailable.
This is a full-time role with flexible working days.

Responsibilities
- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the assigned Teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain focused and engaged.
- Maintain effective classroom discipline in accordance with School policies.
- Offer feedback to Teachers on student progress and any concerns encountered during the cover.
- Support students with queries and maintain a calm, supportive classroom environment.
- Adapt easily and be prepared to cover different subjects and year groups when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with secondary students is essential.
- Confident classroom presence and the ability to lead learning activities.
- Excellent interpersonal and classroom management abilities.
- A genuine interest in supporting student's progress and wellbeing.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
- Two professional references from recent positions in the education sector.
