My client, a leading global company, is looking for a Retail Development Consultant to join their team in Desford. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of retail sales, focusing on customers with 1-5 machines. You'll work closely with dealers, leveraging both physical and digital solutions to help these customers succeed.
This is a full-time position with working hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. You should expect to travel up to 25% of the time, primarily within Europe and the UK.
What you'll do:
- Manage the retail business transformation with your assigned dealers, focusing on physical proximity and digital channels to reach potential retail customers.
- Advise dealers on retail marketing, sales, and customer-related strategies, systems, and processes.
- Consult with dealers on process improvement methods, helping them increase productivity and efficiency's while reducing distribution costs.
- Lead retail-specific projects at a dealer, regional, or global level to drive retail transformation.
- Oversee and promote programs that increase sales while achieving price realisation and profit margins.
What you'll bring:
- A bachelor's degree.
- Experience in growing and executing sales and/or marketing plans.
- Experience in B2B and customer-facing roles, including consulting with dealers or distributors.
- Prior field experience.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
- A self-starter attitude with strong initiative and a positive mindset.
- Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills.
The preferred work location for this role is Cary, NC. The position involves frequent travel (up to 50%) and covers 10 dealers across the Europe, Africa, and Middle East region.
