Assembly Technician | Dundee
The Mission:
In this role, you aren't just "running a line"-you are the technical heartbeat of our Dundee facility. You will ensure our life-saving medical products are manufactured with surgical precision. You'll be the first responder to technical challenges, bridging the gap between standard operation and high-level engineering.
Rate: £14.80/hr
Shift: Fortnightly rotation (06:00-14:00 | 14:00-22:00)
Key Responsibilities:
Automation Stewardship: Take full ownership of equipment setup, changeovers, and first-line troubleshooting. You are the barrier between a minor glitch and a major downtime event.
Quality Integrity: Execute manufacturing tasks via SOPs and PBRs with a "Right First Time" mentality. You'll ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) at every turn.
Operational Intelligence: Monitor real-time OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) data, translating machine performance into actionable insights.
Continuous Improvement: Lean on your Six Sigma Yellow Belt training to lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and streamline our production workflows.
The Ideal Candidate:
Technically Sharp: You have a deep understanding of automated production controls and feel at home working with complex, semi-automated systems.
Data-Driven: You're comfortable with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and utilising DMAIC or A3 methodologies to crush inefficiencies.
Systems Literate: Proficient in ERP and EDMS platforms, with a firm grasp of Change Control and Device Master Records (DMR).
