Are you a motivated and dynamic Document Controller?
Randstad is seeking to employ an experienced Document Controller.
This is a unique opportunity to join a permanent team and make a real impact on some of the most exciting builds in Newcastle and Sunderland.
What you'll do:
- Become the master of project information. You'll manage and maintain all project documentation, ensuring every document is perfectly organized and accessible in our Viewpoint Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Drive project success from behind the scenes. Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure flawless document control procedures are followed, keeping our projects on track and on time.
- Champion quality and compliance. Take the lead on collating and tracking all Quality Assurance (QA) inspections and documentation, guaranteeing we meet the highest industry standards.
- Curate critical project legacies. You'll be responsible for collecting, reviewing, and compiling Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, playing a key role in the final project handover to our clients.
What we're looking for:
- A proactive and experienced professional with over 2 years in a Document Controller role within the construction industry, specifically with commercial builds.
- Someone with proven expertise in operating Viewpoint.
- A meticulous and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm role.
- A team player who is happy to work on-site in Newcastle and/or Sunderland (travel and mileage will be covered).
