Are you a passionate and creative Design and Technology Teacher ready for a new opportunity? We are seeking an inspiring and innovative teacher to join our team in the Wirral area. This is a fantastic chance to bring your skills to a local school and help students design, create, and innovate.
The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated teacher who can deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across a range of specialisms, including Resistant Materials, Textiles, and Graphics. You will be responsible for fostering a safe and creative workshop environment where students can develop practical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Main Duties of a DT Teacher:
- Plan and deliver exciting, hands-on DT lessons that adhere to the curriculum.
- Manage workshop safety and ensure all students are following correct procedures.
- Guide students through design processes, from initial concept to final product.
- Assess and provide feedback on both practical and theoretical work.
- Maintain equipment and resources to ensure the workshop runs smoothly.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): This is a mandatory requirement for the role.

- Experience: Prior experience teaching Design and Technology is essential.
