About the Role
This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our team, starting in the next academic year. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and secure learning environment for our young pupils (Nursery/Reception). We are seeking a practitioner who is deeply familiar with the unique developmental needs of early learners and committed to delivering the highest quality provision across all seven areas of the EYFS curriculum.

What We're Looking For

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery or Reception).
- Thorough knowledge and confident application of the EYFS framework, including effective observation, assessment, and planning.
- A genuine commitment to play-based learning and outdoor education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Initiative, flexibility, and a highly positive, professional approach.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Planning, preparing, and delivering a broad, balanced, and stimulating curriculum that meets the individual needs of all learners.
- Creating a safe, vibrant, and enabling indoor and outdoor learning environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Systematically assessing, monitoring, and recording children's progress (using both formative and summative methods) and identifying appropriate next steps.
- Establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with parents/carers, including regular dialogue about their child's development and progress.
- Directing and collaborating effectively with the Early Years Teaching Assistants and support staff.
- Contributing actively to the wider life of the school, including professional development and team meetings.
- Adhering to all school policies, particularly those related to health, safety, and child protection.
