The Role: EYFS Teacher (Nursery/Reception)
We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to join a passionate team. This pivotal role involves planning and delivering a rich, playful, and balanced curriculum in either our Nursery or Reception classes. You will be responsible for creating an enabling environment, observing and assessing children's learning across the seven areas of development, and building strong partnerships with parents to ensure every child makes exceptional progress.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver a challenging and engaging curriculum that adheres to the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
- Create and continuously enhance a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment that fosters independence and curiosity.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress (using tools such as the EYFS Profile), using this data to plan next steps and interventions.
- Establish excellent relationships with children, acting as a positive role model and promoting their personal, social, and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with EYFS practitioners (Teaching Assistants) to deploy resources effectively and ensure high-quality provision.
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers about their child's development and learning journey.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children, following all school policies and procedures.
- Contribute actively to the development of the whole EYFS unit and the wider school.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and specific experience teaching within the EYFS framework (Nursery/Reception).
- A deep, current understanding of child development and the pedagogy of play-based learning.
- Expertise in observational assessment and tracking to ensure rapid and sustained progress across the seven areas of learning.
- An individual who is creative, energetic, and patient, with the ability to inspire wonder in young children.
- A practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills appropriate for the Early Years.
- Commitment to teamwork and reflective practice, always seeking to improve provision.
- The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
