Randstad Education is working with a leading college in Cambridge who are looking for a passionate and skilled lecturer to join our Construction department as a Lecturer in Electrical Installations.

This leading further education college, which serves the Cambridgeshire area, holds 'Good' and 'Strong' Ofsted ratings for fulfilling regional skills demands. The college provides specialist facilities for vocational training in numerous sectors, including construction, engineering, and hospitality.
This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with their hours 08.30am - 04.30pm.

Responsibilities:
- Teach, train, and assess electrical installation students.
- Develop and maintain curriculum, resources, and assessment materials.
- Tutor students, track their progress, and provide regular feedback.
- Support student recruitment activities and build industry links.
- Ensure full compliance with all safeguarding and health & safety policies
Preferred Skills:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations & substantial industry experience.
- Prior experience in training or mentoring others.
- Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication, motivational, and IT skills.
- Full UK driving licence (highly desirable).
- Teaching or assessor qualifications (e.g., PGCE, A1) are desirable but not essential.
