About the Role:
As our Temporary Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for the electrical upkeep of a significant commercial property. Your day-to-day will involve:
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Conducting routine inspections, testing, and servicing of all electrical plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
Reactive Maintenance: Swiftly diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults and breakdowns, minimizing disruption to building occupants.
Fault Finding: Applying your expertise to efficiently identify the root cause of electrical issues.
Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all work adheres to the latest electrical regulations, health and safety standards, and company procedures.
Documentation: Accurately recording all maintenance activities and reporting any issues.
What We're Looking For:
Fully Qualified Electrician: You must hold relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 2360/2330 Parts 1 & 2, or equivalent).
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations: Up-to-date certification is essential.
Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in both planned and reactive electrical maintenance, ideally within a large commercial or office building environment.
Strong Fault-Finding Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
Proactive & Reliable: A self-starter who can work independently and respond quickly to urgent requests.
Excellent Communication: Ability to liaise effectively with building management and other team members.
Health & Safety Conscious: A solid understanding of workplace safety procedures.
