The Opportunity:
This role is perfect for a qualified English teacher who is confident working with students with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex learning difficulties. You'll play a key role in helping pupils develop literacy skills while building confidence and engagement in learning.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons
- Adapt content to suit a range of learning styles and needs
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour in a calm, positive manner
- Work closely with support staff and SEN specialists
What You'll Need:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with English specialism preferred
- Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not provided)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
- Experience working with SEN learners in the UK (desirable)
- Strong communication, patience, and adaptability
- Available full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
