The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons across the age and ability range, ensuring every student has the opportunity to engage with challenging texts and concepts.
Curriculum Delivery: Teach English across KS3 and KS4. Experience in delivering A Level English Language and Literature is highly desirable.
Innovative Pedagogy: Utilize a broad and diverse curriculum that interleaves key skills with knowledge-rich content to inspire students beyond the classroom.
Resource Development: Collaborate with a team of post-holders to develop and share high-quality teaching resources in a dedicated English Resource Room.
Student Progress: Monitor student performance closely to identify areas of need and implement effective interventions.
Reflective Practice: Engage fully with the school's extensive CPD programme and participate in departmental peer-learning to refine your craft.
