Position: English Teacher
Pay Rate: £150-220 per day

We are looking for an experienced English Teacher to work in a dedicated secondary and SEN setting in Essex. This role isn't about rushing through a syllabus; it's about functional communication, sensory storytelling, and building the confidence to be heard.
As an English teacher, you will have the opportunity to ignite a passion for literature and language in your students, fostering critical thinking and creativity through engaging discussions and diverse texts. You will create inclusive lesson plans that promote effective communication skills, provide constructive feedback on writing, and inspire students to explore their own voices.

Responsibilities as an English Teacher:
- Tailor lessons to meet the needs and learning styles of different students.
- Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and projects
- Maintain a positive and conducive classroom environment
- Manage student behavior and ensure that classroom rules are followed.
- Encourage students to explore a variety of genres and styles to develop their literacy and critical thinking skills.
Requirements of this role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service
- Proven professional references
- Relevant teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum
