Key Responsibilities & Search Criteria
We are looking for a Secondary English Teacher ready to deliver exceptional results and foster a passion for the written word.
Curriculum Excellence: Deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum aligned with GCSE English Language and Literature specifications, ensuring students build deep substantive and disciplinary knowledge of diverse texts.
Data-Driven Progress: Use formative assessment and the "Test" phase of lessons to bridge attainment gaps and ensure every student thrives on their academic "Flight Path."
Consistent Routines: Maintain a focused and inclusive environment using the academy's proven, highly structured approach to behavior management and classroom culture.

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this English Teaching job in Greenwich, you must meet the following:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Mandatory for this role.
Degree: A BA/MA in English Literature, English Language, or a closely related Humanities field.
Experience: A proven history of teaching English within a UK secondary setting (11-18 urban experience is highly desirable).
Compliance: A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and a total commitment to safeguarding.
