Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students of various abilities.
- Inspire a love for literature and language through creative teaching methods.
- Assess student work and provide helpful feedback to encourage progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour to create a safe and positive learning space.
- Support students in preparing for their GCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Collaborate with the English department to share resources and ideas.
Skills You'll Need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must be a fully qualified teacher.
- A deep understanding of the English curriculum.
- Ability to connect with students and explain complex ideas simply.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check is essential for this role or we can help you get one.
