The RoleAs an invigilator, you will play a crucial role in supporting students during one of the most important times of their academic careers.
Consistency is Key: The school prefers to work with the same team members throughout the season to ensure continuity for our students and staff.
Flexibility & Adaptation: While we agree on days in advance, the nature of the exam season means we value candidates who can adapt as demand increases.
Compliance: You will ensure all sessions are conducted strictly according to JCQ regulations.
Exams generally run in two blocks. You may be requested to work one or both sessions on agreed days:
AM Session: 08:30 - 12:30
PM Session: 12:30 - 16:30
Experience: Previous experience working in a school environment and prior exam invigilation is essential.
Physical Stamina: You must be fit to stand and walk for long periods and comfortable lifting and carrying heavy packs of exam papers.
Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for monitoring the hall and ensuring all administrative paperwork is completed accurately.
Professionalism: The ability to follow complex instructions and maintain a quiet, focused atmosphere.
