Are you a highly skilled and meticulous finisher / snagger with a keen eye for detail? We're looking for an experienced professional to join our team on a thriving new build housing site in Spennymoor. This contract role is crucial for getting properties ready for handover, and your precision and craftsmanship will be key.
The Role:
- Undertaking comprehensive snagging and remedial works across various trades to an impeccable standard.
- Performing minor joinery tasks, such as adjusting doors, fitting architraves/skirting, and making good any blemishes.
- Carrying out touch-up painting and decorating, ensuring seamless and flawless finishes.
- Completing minor plaster patching and making good on walls and ceilings.
- Addressing any other identified defects or imperfections to achieve a pristine final product.
- Working efficiently and cleanly, managing your own workload to meet handover deadlines.
- Communicating effectively with the site management team regarding progress and any issues.
- Adhering strictly to all site health and safety regulations.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Previous experience as a finisher within the new build housing sector.
- Possesses a versatile skill set across multiple trades (joinery, painting, patching, etc.).
- Valid CSCS card.
- Has exceptional attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to delivering a perfect finish.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated.
- Able to work independently and manage their time effectively.
- A strong problem-solver with a "right first time" approach.
- Own tools and transport would be highly beneficial.
