About the Role
As a finisher on our new build housing development, you will be responsible for ensuring that all completed properties meet the highest standards of quality and presentation before handover. Your keen eye for detail will be critical in identifying and rectifying imperfections. Key responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking snagging and remedial works to a very high standard across various trades.
- Performing minor joinery tasks, such as adjusting doors, fitting architraves/skirting, and repairing blemishes.
- Carrying out touch-up painting and decorating, ensuring seamless finishes.
- Completing minor plaster patching and making good.
- Addressing any other defects or imperfections to achieve a pristine finish.
- Working efficiently and cleanly, managing your own workload to meet handover deadlines.
- Communicating effectively with the site management team regarding progress and issues.
- Adhering strictly to all site health and safety regulations.
Skilles / Experience
- Proven and highly experienced as a Finisher within the new build housing sector.
- Possesses a versatile skill set across multiple trades (joinery, painting, patching, etc.).
- Has exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a perfect finish.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated.
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A strong problem-solver with a "right first time" approach.
- A valid CSCS card is essential for this role.
- Own tools and transport would be beneficial.
