This full-time, permanent role begins in September and offers the chance to transform how students experience and engage with modern languages.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality French and/or Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students
Plan creative, culturally rich lessons that encourage curiosity and communication
Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate a range of learning needs and levels
Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
Inspire a passion for languages through engaging and hands-on experiences.
Assist in departmental planning and support extracurricular language activities.
Contribute to a dynamic School environment through active involvement and teamwork.

Requirements

QTS or PGCE qualification is essential
Proven experience teaching French or Spanish at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) levels
Strong classroom management and engaging lesson delivery
A genuine enthusiasm for languages and cultural exchange
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply for one)
Two recent professional references from educational settings based on recent experience.
