Randstad Education is looking for a dedicated General Cover Teacher with a focus on Maths, Science, and Geography to join a vibrant secondary school in Witham. This is a full-time position starting in April 2026 and running until the end of the academic year.
The Role
We are seeking an adaptable professional who thrives on variety. You won't just be "covering" lessons; you will be delivering high-quality content across Maths, Science, and Geography. You will be responsible for ensuring students remain engaged and on track across KS3 and KS4, providing a seamless learning experience regardless of the subject.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be a resilient professional with a broad knowledge of the British curriculum. We are looking for an educator who is as flexible as they are engaging.
UK Experience: Previous experience teaching or providing cover in a UK secondary school setting.
Qualifications: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Subject Versatility: A strong command of Maths, Science, and Geography at KS3 and KS4 levels.
Compliance: Must possess or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Classroom Management: Proven ability to adapt to different classroom dynamics and maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
