We are currently looking for reliable and adaptable General Supply Teachers to support various high-achieving Secondary Schools across Harlow, Essex.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers looking to reduce their administrative load and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) wanting to gain exposure to different classroom environments.
As a General Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects. Your primary focus will be to maintain a productive learning environment and ensure students remain engaged and on-task.
- No Planning or Marking: In most day-to-day roles, work is set; you simply deliver and collect.
- Flexibility: You choose the days you want to work-ideal for those with other commitments.
- Variety: Experience the unique cultures of different secondary schools within the Harlow area.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to different behaviour policies.
- A proactive and "can-do" attitude.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Reliability and punctuality.
