Geography Teacher | Rhyl | Starting Easter
We are seeking an inspiring Geography Teacher to join a secondary school in Rhyl starting this Easter. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role in a supportive department.
Pay Rate: £173 - £200 per day.
The school is perfectly located for a simple commute. Whether you are traveling from Prestatyn, Abergele, Colwyn Bay, or Flint, the school is easy to reach via the A55 or local coastal routes, making your morning journey stress-free.
Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons that cover physical and human environments.
- Help students understand global issues, from climate change to urban development.
- Use maps, data, and digital tools to bring the subject to life in the classroom.
- Support pupils in preparing for their exams with clear guidance and feedback.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning space.
- Organise local fieldwork and activities to help students explore the world around them.
Skills Needed:
- You must hold QTS or a recognised teaching qualification.
- A passion for Geography and a talent for making the subject interesting.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check is required or willingness to apply for one.
