We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a dynamic Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students with a love for geography, environmental awareness, and global issues. This role is for January 2025 and is an ongoing long term role.
Duties as a Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to [KS3/KS4/KS5] students
- Develop students' understanding of physical and human geography
- Prepare students for examinations and coursework assessments
- Encourage critical thinking about global and environmental challenges
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities, including field trips
Ideal Geography Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Specialism or experience in Geography
- Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Geography Teacher
- Passion for inspiring students and fostering curiosity about the world
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
