Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Science department, setting high expectations for teaching, learning, and student achievement.
- Inspire and develop a team of Science teachers through coaching and mentoring.
- Use data analysis to monitor performance and implement strategies for improvement.
- Ensure a safe, well-equipped, and enriching science learning environment.
- Oversee curriculum planning, resource development, and exam preparation.

Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified teaching status) is essential.
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
- Be able to demonstrate proven experience of delivering high-quality science teaching with excellent student outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- A clear vision for the future of science education, with a focus on innovation, inclusion, and achievement.
- A thorough understanding of the science curriculum and assessment at Key Stage 3 (KS3), Key Stage 4 (KS4), and ideally Key Stage 5 (KS5).
- Inspire confidence, resilience, and curiosity in both staff and students.
- Be an excellent communicator, team player, and strategic thinker.
