History Teacher - Secondary - Wirral
Pay: £150-£220 per day

You will teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially Key Stage 5 depending on the school. You'll use your creativity and expertise to bring the curriculum to life and help students understand the world through a historical lens.
Duties:
- Teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, following school schemes and exam board requirements.
- Design and deliver well-structured lessons that promote engagement, curiosity, and independent learning.
- Assess student's progress regularly using formative and summative methods, and provide timely feedback.
- Adapt lessons and resources to cater to a range of learning needs and abilities.
- Support pupil's academic and personal development through positive behaviour management and motivation.
- Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum by attending department meetings and sharing ideas.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to parent-teacher communication.
Must Haves:
- UK QTS or equivalent qualification to teach in secondary schools.
- Experience teaching History in UK schools at KS3/KS4.
- Knowledge of current GCSE History syllabus and exam expectations.
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
- Positive, enthusiastic approach to teaching.
