Roles & Responsibilities
Taking responsibility for whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
Planning and delivering high-quality learning activities across various subjects.
Leading small group sessions in Literacy and Numeracy to bridge attainment gaps.
Assessing student work and providing detailed feedback to class teachers.
Acting as a role model and mentor for other Teaching Assistants and support staff.
Top Requirements
Must hold a recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent teaching degree.
Proven track record of managing classroom behaviour effectively and independently.
Ability to liaise professionally with staff, parents, and external agencies.
A "can-do" attitude, ready to support different year groups as needed.
