Location: Crosby (L22, L23) and surrounding areas of Sefton
Must-Haves:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
- A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (on update service check) OR willingness to get one.
- A strong foundational understanding of the UK National Curriculum and an eagerness to master GCSE assessment criteria.
Key Duties:
- Designing and delivering lessons for Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9), GCSE (Years 10-11), and potentially A-Level (Years 12-13). This includes teaching grammar, creative writing, and literary analysis .
- Adapting teaching materials to suit a wide range of abilities.
- Marking books, grading mock exams, and providing constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Attending "Parents Evenings" to discuss academic progress and writing termly reports for every student you teach.
- Foster an inclusive environment where students from all backgrounds can excel.
