Qualifed Social Worker
IRO
As an IRO, you'll be responsible for chairing reviews for children in care, ensuring their care plans are robust, child-focused, and meet their needs. You'll play a crucial role in safeguarding, challenging, and supporting social workers and managers to achieve the highest standards of practice. You'll need to be an excellent communicator, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation, policy, and best practice. Your ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals is essential.
What We're Looking ForA qualified social worker with current Social Work England registration.
Extensive experience in children's social work, including experience at a senior or management level.
- DBS on Update service
A deep knowledge of the Children Act 1989, statutory guidance, and relevant case law.
Proven ability to chair complex meetings and make independent, well-reasoned decisions.
Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
