Junior Site Engineer (Temp to Perm) - Housing Civils
Are you a Site Engineer looking to kick-start your career with a clear path to a permanent role?
Randstad is looking for a Junior Site Engineer for a growing civil engineering company specializing in large-scale residential developments. We're looking for a highly motivated and proactive Junior Site Engineer on a temp-to-perm basis, with a view to a permanent contract after a 12-week trial period.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to two years of experience in the civils sector. You'll work closely with our experienced project managers and site teams, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of residential groundworks and infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
- Setting out and checking various civils works on housing sites, including roads, drainage, foundations, and utilities.
- Assisting with the management of site operations, including health and safety, quality control, and environmental compliance.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and design specifications.
- Conducting site surveys and compiling daily site diaries and reports.
- Collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
What we're looking for:
- A degree or HNC in Civil Engineering.
- A valid CSCS card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Basic knowledge of surveying equipment, such as total stations and GPS.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
