Your Role as a Kitchen Assistant:
- Collaborate with our school cook to prepare and serve wholesome, appealing meals that children love, transforming fresh ingredients into a highlight of their day.
- Maintain a spotless, safe, and efficient kitchen and dining environment, ensuring the highest levels of food hygiene and safety at all times.
- Prepare the dining hall to be a welcoming, organised space for students and play a key role in creating a smooth and pleasant lunchtime experience.
- Become a seamless part of the school team, working alongside staff to support a cohesive and successful school community.
What You Bring to the Kitchen:
- An overwhelmingly positive attitude and a passion for providing great food.
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality, with a natural ability to work as part of a team.
- The physical stamina to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- A proactive, flexible, and resilient approach to daily tasks.
- A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is an advantage, but not essential.
- An Enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK (support available).
