We are looking for practitioners who can hit the ground running, commanding the room with confidence and delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire older primary students.
About the Role: As a dedicated KS2 Supply Teacher, you will be the backbone of the school day, ensuring learning continues seamlessly in the absence of the class teacher. Your duties will include:
Delivering challenging and structured lessons across Years 3 to 6.
Supporting students with the more complex demands of the KS2 curriculum, particularly in Maths and Literacy.
Managing behaviour effectively, fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and focus.
Helping students develop the independence and resilience needed for secondary transition.
Ensuring all work is marked and feedback is left for the returning teacher with zero take-home planning required.
What we are looking for:
Qualification: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience: Proven experience within Key Stage 2 is essential (knowledge of the Year 6 SATs curriculum is a bonus but not mandatory).
Presence: Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage older children.
Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) and two professional references.
