Are you an ambitious educator ready to bridge the gap between foundational learning and secondary readiness? Join a high-achieving primary faculty where academic excellence meets a supportive, collaborative culture.
Empower the Next Generation of Independent Learners
Key Stage 2 is the "engine room" of primary education. We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher (Year 3 to Year 6) to join a forward-thinking school team. Whether you are an ECT looking for a structured start or an experienced practitioner specialised in Upper KS2 / SATs preparation, this role offers a platform to deliver high-impact lessons without the burden of "silo" planning.
- Scale-Matched Pay: We strictly adhere to MPS/UPS scales (£140 - £233 per day), ensuring your expertise is recognised with reliable weekly payments via Randstad.
- Workload-Conscious Planning: Join a Year Group team that prioritises shared resources and collective moderation, letting you focus on teaching rather than administrative friction.
- SATs & Mastery Focus: Access 2026-specialised CPD on Mathematics Mastery and Year 6 SATs strategies to ensure every student hits their "Flight Path" targets.
- Leadership Pathways: This fixed-term role is an excellent opportunity to showcase your impact for future Subject Lead or Middle Management positions.
Your Role as an Academic Mentor
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you are responsible for fostering critical thinking and resilience in students aged 7-11.
- Challenging Curriculum Delivery: Plan and execute lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, with a focus on narrowing attainment gaps in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Data-Informed Instruction: Use formative assessment and mock data to identify student needs, providing targeted interventions to ensure no child falls behind.
- Transition Leadership: Support Year 3 students in their move from Infants or guide Year 6 through the emotional and academic journey toward secondary school.
- Parental Partnership: Maintain transparent, professional communication with families to support the holistic academic and social growth of every pupil.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this Primary Teaching role, you must meet the following:

- Curriculum Expertise: A strong understanding of the KS2 framework and assessment markers.
- Classroom Management: The ability to inspire a class of 30+ students while maintaining a focused, high-energy learning environment.
