Children with Disabilities Social Worker | Midlothian | Up to £38/hr | 3-Month Minimum Contract
Are you a qualified Social Worker passionate about championing the rights and enhancing the lives of children with disabilities and their families? We're seeking dedicated professionals to join our specialist team in Midlothian.
This is a unique opportunity to make a profound difference. You'll provide tailored, vital services, focusing on the specific needs of children with disabilities and their families. Your role will involve managing a dedicated caseload, conducting comprehensive assessments that consider complex needs, writing detailed reports, and delivering empathetic, child-centred family work. We guarantee a minimum 3-month contract with a competitive rate of up to £38 per hour.
What you'll bring:
A Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
Demonstrable experience or a strong understanding of working with children with disabilities and their families.
Membership of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Membership of the PVG scheme.
Proven ability to work independently, manage complex cases, and exhibit excellent organisational skills.
